COMPANY SUMMARY:

An affiliate of the highly acclaimed record label dedicated to rediscovering obscure music, recorded material, and ephemera across eras and genres. The distinct quality of reissues, compilations, and reconstructions represents deeply researched, expertly resuscitated, and lavishly packaged box sets, playlists, sync placements, and ephemera of historic music from the 1950s-2000s.

UK/EU LABEL MANAGER, NUMERO GROUP (LONDON):

Numero Group seeks a Label Manager UK & Europe. The candidate will be based in London, and act as the lead representative and ambassador for Numero Group in the UK and Europe. Their primary mission will be to fortify the label’s presence in the UK and European markets, working closely with a global network to execute effective release strategies. They must be a great communicator and a motivated self-starter who can add passion and insight into the UK and European markets for our repertoire to help connect with a wider audience. They should have at least 5+ years’ experience of working in the music industry and be enthusiastic and familiar with our catalogue.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

• Represent, manage and promote Numero Group’s brand and catalogue across the UK and Europe
• Work closely with the Numero Group’s senior management team and serve as the primary operational point of contact for the territory 
• Develop, execute and monitor localised marketing and promotion activities for the frontline and catalogue repertoire in close collaboration with the wider label team and regional external partners
• Responsible for managing local budgets and meeting regional sales targets 
• Conduct periodical stock management and control of frontline and catalogue releases 
• Collaborate closely with our physical distribution network to boost physical sales 
• Strategise with Numero Group’s digital team to maximise repertoire performance 
• Manage day to day relationships with local DSP offices and representatives to promote the roster 
• Identify and execute interesting/appropriate brand partnerships and find new opportunities for Numero Group’s repertoire in the territory 
• Partake in the discovery of new repertoire and creatively adapt and repackage existing repertoire for territory-appropriate release concepts 
• Expand Numero Group’s regional network and maintain relationships with key local partners 
• Collate and distribute regular territory reports with the wider organisation and external partners

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years experience in music 
• Show passion for and familiarity with the Numero Group catalogue 
• A thorough understanding of the UK and European music market, in both the physical and digital realms
• Must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills 
• Work independently, conscientiously and with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent communication skills, hands-on-mentality and team spirit
