Artist & Label Relations Representative

Our growing Artist & Label Relations team is seeking an Artist & Label Relations Representative. In this role, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of new and existing artists and labels and ensuring that your clients are consistently receiving the maximum value from our product and services.
Providing top customer service to clients at various levels, building valuable relationships, and asking strategic questions is something that comes naturally to you. You are excited to foster meaningful and lasting customer partnerships that keep users engaged, while simultaneously adding new accounts to our book of business.
While this role will require interaction with artists, labels, and managers at various stages in their career and various levels of seniority, the primary responsibilities will be administrative and operations-focused. A successful Artist & Label Relations Representative will set realistic expectations with their clients, deliver on those expectations, and ask the necessary questions to ensure that we are taking the actions required to retain and grow their business.
This role is full-time and fully remote, with occasional in-person get-togethers for which we cover travel / lodging for out-of-town employees. While we will consider candidates from across the United States, we are prioritizing those based in the Los Angeles area.

What You'll Do:
x Act as the first point of contact, assist with the day-to-day management of clients/label accounts through Stem’s platform and cross-functional processes throughout the organization
x Foster and manage relationship of key accounts
x Serve as the Stem platform/digital distribution expert for the client. This includes conducting new user onboarding/product training and sharing best practices to drive adoption and success on the platform. Additionally, perform video product demonstrations and familiarize new and existing clients and/or their representatives with the various functions and features of the platform
x Troubleshoot day-to-day release needs (metadata, release updates, platform bugs and general questions)
x Proactively identify customer issues and potential churn, and take preventative action
x Complete quarterly business reviews in-person to review activity and drive engagement
x Share constructive client feedback around product and services with key internal stakeholders
x Identify key commercial opportunities across your roster and galvanize Stem’s team accordingly
x Help independent musicians stay independent, by bringing fintech to music!
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
x At least 1 year of experience in a client facing role
x Interest in the music distribution space
x Technical proficiency and ability to learn systems quickly
x Personable and effective communicator
x High level of attention to detail and self-starter / solution oriented mindset
x Flexibility and willingness to work on nights and occasional weekends
x Comfortable working under pressure
x Knows how to prioritize tasks and projects
x Excellent written and verbal communication skills
x Love for music and interest in the music industry
It's a Bonus if You Have:
x General understanding of digital distribution / landscape or experience in the music industry
x Experience working on high touch accounts or releases
x Understands DSP style guides
x Experience working with iTunes Connect, YouTube Creator Studio, Facebook Rights Manager, MediaMatch, Spotify for Artists, and other content management systems. YouTube certification is a plus.

The salary range for this job is $60,000 to $65,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include equity, benefits, and any other compensatory components of the role.
