What You’ll Be Doing
In the role of Creator Success Advocate, BeatStars Publishing, you’ll demonstrate a proven ability to establish and cultivate meaningful relationships with our top Publishing producers to ensure a world-class customer experience, help them succeed, hit sales quotas for our Promote feature and achieve industry-best retention rates for Publishing membership. As an experienced customer success professional, you will become knowledgeable about BeatStars along with our Publishing membership and Promote product, define and practice customer success best practices and processes, and excel in delivering service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. Ideally, you will benefit from prior experience in a results-driven, customer success and/or account management role interacting with artists and/or producers in the music industry. As a key member of the BeatStars Publishing team, you’re a proactive, solutions-oriented team member who thrives in an environment that is highly autonomous, collaborative, open, transparent, and supportive.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships with our top Publishing producers to deliver the maximum value from our products and services while helping optimize their experience and support a successful publishing journey
- Upsell BeatStars’ Promote feature, including educating producers on how to benefit from the feature, to meet ambitious sales quotas and revenue targets
- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting to help increase effectiveness of the entire team
- Review the customer journey, identifying how to support it at key points through feature optimization and cross-sells, taking a consultative approach in helping clients overcome issues and achieve goals
- Help producers establish milestones to work towards on a path to achieving royalty success
- Continually activate strategies and tactics to meet our industry-best retention targets
- Work closely with Marketing colleagues to identify success stories and in the creation of testimonials, training content and educational materials for producers to keep them engaged and to enhance their success
- Review customer complaints and concerns and seek to improve the customer experience in collaboration with the product/support team
- Curate playlists as needed to support on-going playlist features on our site, new features like a “New & Notable” feed, expansion initiatives in new territories, and potential private playlists for our label partners and/or Sony.
What you’ll need:
- Proven work experience and high-performance in Customer Success or similar role
- Experience working with producers/artist/music industry
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Experience understanding software products in depth, CRM experience and plus
- Accountability and strong organizational skills are essential
- Experience managing and expanding customer relationships with a strong commercial aptitude, including handling objections to achieve results

Compensation:
OTE is $92-97k for all remote US.
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles only) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.
