Secretly Group Seeks a Full Time Designer

Status: Full-time

Hours: 40/week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm

Location: Bloomington, IN, Brooklyn, NY, or Los Angeles, CA

Position Overview:  Secretly Group seeks a talented Designer with a passion for music to assist the Secretly Group Art Department in the generation of print and digital assets with a focus on

album packaging. This position will be based in the Bloomington, Brooklyn or LA office.

Responsibilities will include: 

- Undertaking tasks as set out by the Art Directors and Creative Director, including

• Designing Album artwork and associated assets

• Signing off proofs

• Reworking catalogue releases and reissues 

• Creating label-wide marketing content print & digital

• Adapting LP design to other formats, i.e. CD/Cassette

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Have a degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.

• Have a thorough understanding of print production and print processes and experience delivering finished files to printers. 

• Be a creative thinker with a passion for music and the visual world that surrounds it  

• Have an in depth understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. 

• Have an ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, manage workload effectively and communicate well within a large organization

• Have experience managing responsibility of taking projects through to completion and delivery to print.

• Be able to approach work methodically and follow or implement systems of organization.

• Be aware of what the leaders in our fields are doing, and have a desire to strive for industry leading and award winning creative campaigns and album packaging.
