Summary


DistroKid is in search of Director, Performance Marketing who has an analytical, metrics-driven approach to understanding the opportunity and performance of channels and campaigns (e.g., knows which KPIs to track and leverages dashboards to ensure focus across organization), as well as proven success optimizing investment across these variables to drive growth. This individual will be joining our growing marketing team, reporting directly to the VP, Marketing, and will play a key role in driving the growth of DistroKid’s user base.


What You Will Do


Build, lead and develop DistroKid’s performance marketing function.


Lead development, reporting, and day to day execution on DistroKid’s marketing campaigns


Develop and own full-funnel audience testing and conversion tests and improvements focused on campaign enhancements across platforms, retargeting, and landing page development and optimization


Analytical, metrics-driven approach to understanding the opportunity and performance of channels and campaigns as well as proven success optimizing investment across these variables to drive growth.


Manage relationships between DistroKid and external platforms, third-party agencies, vendors, and external creative partners.

Develop and own DistroKid’s affiliate and artist referral programs


Own experimentation and channel expansion including digital channel roadmapping, creative planning, targeting and landing page optimization

Establish, define, and implement success metrics and reporting standards


Skill Required


8+years of experience leading performance media teams in a remote start-up environment


Own growth marketing channels and demonstrated positive results for owning and fulling growth KPIs


Expertise in all areas of digital performance marketing with an extreme fluency across Youtube, TikTok, IG, and Snap


Experience in music and/or creator focused platforms is a plus.


Excellent partnership skills and experience managing multiple external agencies.


Growth minded with the ability to scale campaigns to hit company goals


Strong analytics and data storytelling skills


Experience building and leading a marketing function


Bonus: International growth experience
