Event Sponsorship Director (Project-Based, Part-Time)

Marauder is looking to hire a New York-based Sponsorship Director to assist with our rigorous and exciting upcoming Spring and Summer calendar. Strong candidates must have at least 2 years of event sponsorship experience with demonstrated expertise with in-person activations, and must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Project and program planning
• Planning and drafting communication with external events stakeholders
• Liaising with clients and event partners to ensure partnership success
• Pre-event sponsor coordination for all events
• Attending or calling into weekly event planning meetings
• Keeping event-specific webpages up-to-date with all relevant sponsor information
• On-site presence and sponsor management during specific events
• Post-events wrap-up and reporting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the event and entertainment industry
• Extensive knowledge of the event production process
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely and responsible manner
• Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative, follow through, and attention to detail
• Creative problem-solver with an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace is a plus

Requirements

• Aged 18 or over
• Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• NYC-based

Payment & Workload 

• $900/month through June 2022
• Workload is expected to be up 36 hours/month with additional work needed immediately before and during events (note that June 13th - 16th will require availability for full days)
