Head of Artist & Label Relations, Country

Stem enables independent artists to build their businesses. Our tools empower indie musicians and their teams to distribute music, collect royalties from streaming platforms, pay their collaborators, and take out advances on their future earnings.

As Stem’s Head of Artist & Label Relations, you will be the face of Stem within the Country genre, driving new business to grow Stem’s roster and profile.  You will define and implement development strategies that resonate with the genres and communities you target.  You will generate new business by evangelizing Stem, courting & signing established artists & labels and developing meaningful relationships with diverse thought leaders and disruptors in the music industry to help grow Stem’s brand presence. In addition to signing acts, you will also serve as a senior strategy lead for a portfolio of priority artists and labels to ensure that our clients are consistently receiving the maximum value from Stem’s products and services.

You are an expert at marketing recorded music in the digital landscape, and can guide your clients successfully through their release cycles.  You build and leverage a broad network of strategic and creative resources to generate impactful opportunities for your clients.  You’re adept at interacting directly with artists, artist teams, and label executives, at various stages in their career and various levels of seniority.  You have an understanding of how to use data to inform budgeting and marketing decisions.  Your experience with technology will allow you to seamlessly shepherd your clients through the Stem platform.
