Marketing Specialist & Social Media Coordinator (Contract with potential for Full-Time)
Marauder is looking for a digitally savvy marketing specialist to develop engaging content and social media campaigns. The Marketing Specialist will have an important hand in managing and executing deliverables for Marauder’s events and clients. It is crucial for this person to offer and implement creative solutions, to work locally as part of a global team, and to communicate effectively in writing and on the phone. Candidates are expected to have a strong interest in supporting artists, the international community, and the music and entertainment industry as a whole. This is a three-month contractor position with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time hire.
Conduct digital footprint and social media audits
Develop social media strategies for Marauder programs and clients
Create, manage, and maintain detailed social media calendars
Copywriting for social media campaigns
Occasionally assist with implementation of digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.)
Ongoing and detailed campaign reporting with suggestions for optimization
Communicate regularly, occasionally outside standard office hours, with a variety of clients ranging from performing artists to government agencies
Manage and oversee campaigns and other deliverables executed by third-party organizations and freelancers
Oversee interns on work that relates to daily tasks including report generation, market research, data entry, copywriting, and more
Occasionally travel to conferences, festivals, key shows, and media engagements to work on client’s behalf or expand industry relationships
Desired Skills & Experiences:
Experience with and interest in the many platforms and tools of digital marketing
Ability to manage social media platforms in varying voices on behalf of others
A demonstratively strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
Passionate about creative arts and the industry that is fueled by it
A genuine enthusiasm for engaging with content creators of all kinds
Highly organized, self-motivated, and the ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment
Must be legally able to work in the United States
Must have or be able to secure a valid passport
