Position Summary:
Rhymesayers Entertainment is seeking a multimedia design rockstar with creative vision and exceptional visual design skills. The Multimedia Designer will work directly with our creative team to create diverse and high quality visual, textual and animated content for a variety of social & digital platforms that support the voice and message of our artists, releases and marketing campaigns. If you’re creative, love design, and are able to bring new ideas to each specific project, we want to meet you. This role will also be responsible for creating digital and physical artwork for artist releases, photography retouching, re-formatting images and artwork for various purposes, creating fonts and logos for artists, creating style guides for artist campaigns, and creating merchandise product design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create graphic content for the label and its artist partners.
- Edit content provided into prescribed formats (album/packaging design, Instagram / facebook / twitter graphics, one sheets, ad mats, etc.)
- Create a wide range of engaging content for use on social & digital media platforms.
- Develop content specifically designed for platforms including Artist or Brand Websites, Social Platforms, DSPs and more, with a focus on mobile first at the scale and pace of our digital marketing plans.
- Strategize & align within our creative department to brainstorm ideas, develop unique perspectives and create the most socially relevant content needed to support our campaign goals.
- Content required will range from text, photos, videos, animations, GIFs and similar.
- Repackage and repurpose existing campaign visual elements
- Physical product development including working with vendors on tech packs for physical music products, apparel, accessories, and packaging design/layout
- Graphic design for album & single artwork, for website assets and marketing material, graphic design for photo editing for various projects
- Partner with the Creative Director to develop logo & font creations for artist and brand projects
- Print layout for advertisements, physical artwork products, posters, booklets and additional marketing needs
- Coordinate with the Creative Art Director to build style guides for Rhymesayers and our artist partners
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience producing consumer-facing content for digital platforms
- 1-3 years of experience developing consumer facing products with deep knowledge of physical music and apparel production process
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite to create still and motion assets (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and InDesign)
- Intermediate understanding and strategy for all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, and Tumblr – both as a marketer and as a user
- Advanced skills for technical audio editing
- Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and file organization
- Understanding of cloud-based systems for feedback and approval
- Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles
- Ability to produce content utilizing external teams is a plus
- Self-motivated - can work independently and collaboratively

SALARY RANGE $55,000 - $65,000
