Product Asset Coordinator, Light in the Attic

Leading record label and distribution company Light in the Attic seeks to fill the role of Inventory and Product Specialist. This newly-created role reports to General Manager and will support the Operations team. This role will primarily focus on all things related to our products. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be the point person for all product ingestion and setup, ensuring clean product metadata at every level of the supply chain to achieve a high level of efficiency in day-to-day operations. You will support the Operations team in driving Light in the Attic’s catalog of vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and non-music merchandise, as well as that of our ever-expanding network of partners and distributed labels including Nancy Sinatra, Sony Japan, Waxwork, MONDO, iam8bit, Tidal Waves Music, Ship To Shore, and more. This position will play an integral role in shaping the future of the business, working as a key member of our Operations Team to optimize and maintain a best-in-class sales and distribution pipeline.

You will:

- Set up all products on our website, ensuring accurate and clean product metadata across both Direct to Consumer and Wholesale channels; update PDP as-needed

- Maintain collections on website to reflect the most accurate and up to date product statuses  

- Consistently update website and relevant internal systems with New Product metadata 

- Support in maintaining the company release schedule, ensuring a timely publish cadence

- Ensure all internal systems and key stakeholders are updated and notified regularly and accurately regarding price updates, delays, ship date changes, cancellations/deletions, or other product-critical information

- Be responsible for flagging and communicating restocks and reactivations of existing or previously-listed products

- Own and manage UPC creation across LITA Records and distribution channels

- Ensure legacy and go-forward product metadata is as clean and accurate as possible in our system’s central database to maximize sell-through 

- Ensure product metadata is in sync with 3PL product database

- Assist in seasonal/event/sales initiatives (e.g. Record Store Day) and plan assortment with support from Sales and Production

- Communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership

- Other duties as assigned


Requirements and Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail

- Mind for organization an a passion for metadata

- Demonstrated experience using Excel including pivot tables and formulas

- SAP, IMS or ERP Program (1+ years)

- Shopify experience (preferably D2C and Wholesale channels)

- Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite, Slack, Asana 

- Strong analytical capabilities

- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally


´╗┐Education and Experience

- Interest in music and pop culture (video games, film and soundtracks, etc) strongly preferred

- Record label or distribution experience preferred (2+ years)

- Bachelor's Degree 

- 3+ years of related work experience

Nice to Haves:

- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

- Inventory Control and Management

- Experience with Fishbowl Inventory
