Run For Cover Records, LLC
Run for Cover Records (RFC) is an independent record label located in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Casazza at the age of 17 with a $1,000 loan, the label functioned as as a small one person bedroom operation in Brighton, MA until Casazza graduated Suffolk University in 2010. In its early years RFC focused on the hardcore and punk bands that Casazza was passionate about. As the label grew, the sound expanded as well, broadening into an eclectic indie label whose signature style finds strength in eclecticism. From hardcore punk to folk, to indie rock and well beyond, if there is a through line to the music RFC champions, it may be a raw emotional sincerity and DIY attitude. Known for introducing passionate young artists to the world, RFC has helped launch the careers of Tigers Jaw, Modern Baseball, Title Fight, Citizen, Turnover, Pinegrove, Basement, and many more, as well as working with already notable acts like (Sandy) Alex G, Camp Cope, mewithoutYou, Teen Suicide and Nothing.
