Event Producer/Marketing Manager
The Syndicate seeks an Event Producer to join our growing agency. This person will lead, coordinate and execute event projects across the marketing department including event strategy, production and live activations for a diverse range of clients in the entertainment industry. Candidates should be available to work from our Weehawken, NJ home office on a hybrid schedule.
Serving as the main point of contact and communication lead for clients, you will be accountable for successful management of assigned projects while making sure all deliverables are on time & within budget. This person must have a positive, self-starter attitude, and pay close attention to detail.
This person must be a natural leader with a passion for events, people, and collaboration. This is a unique role which requires creativity, organization, and grit, with equal attention paid to both the fine print and the big picture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate multiple projects by providing unified oversight, ensuring transparency to key stakeholders, and driving successful results
Prioritize project work and delegate responsibilities to corresponding team members
Responsible for ensuring project plan is fully up to date and required tasks are completed on time
Drive team communication, both within core team and to management / leadership
Oversee development, creative ideas, logistics and execution of large and small-scale events
Participate in all stages of event planning, from venue search to vendor sourcing to creative oversight
Organize and conduct weekly calls with client, providing relevant updates regarding the progress of the project
Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, collateral, meetings, and staffing plans
Oversee event production on-site, from setup, to execution, to breakdown
Create and lead post-mortem discussion with client and and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
3-7 years of event production experience, in-house or with an agency, preferably with premium-level events
Bachelor’s degree required
Project management and leadership experience required
Strong time management skills, demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
Passion for pop-culture and entertainment, including music, TV, film and comedy
Adaptability to work both as a part of a team and independently
Must be an organized self-starter with an eye for detail
Strong references supporting character and work ethic
Must be willing to travel
Must be available to work nights and weekends, as needed
