D2C MANAGER, MARKETING & OPERATIONS  


Secretly Group seeks a D2C Manager, Marketing & Operations for their London office. The candidate will work closely with the Marketing,Production and Operations teams on bolstering direct-to-consumer physical sales for the Secretly Group labels (Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Secretly Canadian) and its affiliates. This newly created role will increase the D2C team’s capacity from developing sales initiatives, to direct messaging, and ideating new concepts for the labels’ stores and its proprietary record club, Secretly Society. This role will also include marketing and messaging on Bandcamp and other ecommerce platforms. This role reports to our VP Operations, UK & EU.  

 

JOB DESCRIPTION  

- Day-to-day website and e-store management, overseeing product page creation and new product launches for the multiple brands (including their Bandcamp sites and other ecommerce platforms)  

- Identify sale opportunities and execute on-site promotional activities and pricing incentives  

- Help ideate label merchandise and ancillary items (e.g. soft merch, value-adds), and see them through the manufacturing phase through to completion 

- Work with the catalog team to suggest and support catalog initiatives across all stores  

- Co-ordinate creative D2C campaigns with key internal stakeholders  

- Co-own the merchandising of the e-stores, including collaborating on store newsletters and store social strategy  

- Work with internal stakeholders on innovations and growth for the Secretly Society record club  

- Explore and support creative partnerships and opportunities  

- Co-manage multiple inventories across a network of several international fulfilment providers  

- Communicate stock needs and anticipate sellouts  

- Advise on D2C strategy and identify key areas of UX/CX improvement for ecommerce growth  

- Develop and implement new KPI’s that will drive audience acquisition and improve customer experience  

- Generate sales reports and analysis based on current and historic sales and subscriber data, - - UX/CX innovations and other growth factors  

- Identify patterns and develop expertise on the artist roster and their customer bases’ behavior  

- Execute core customer support duties  

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:  

An interest in consumer insight and the impact on product offerings 

Exceptional teamwork, organisation, and time management skills  

Aptitude for quick prioritisation and juggling multiple tasks   

Ability to manage and meet strict deadlines  

Excellent communication and presentation skills  

Strong analytical skills and aptitude; ability to distill large disparate sets of data into key takeaways and actionable insights 

Can work independently, conscientiously and with an entrepreneurial spirit  

Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the wider Secretly Group catalog 

2+ years experience in either the music industry, ecommerce, or direct-to-consumer marketing
