The Digital Marketing Manager reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and General Manager of FADER Label. This role requires comprehensive communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, while representing FADER Label’s overall brand and messaging that it has maintained in its 25 year history.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support on marketing campaigns assigned to the extended marketing team across all FADER Label releases
  • Collaborate with the following teams, A&R, Creative, Sync, PR, Radio, and Distribution, to create robust, innovative, and impactful digital marketing strategies that grow fan bases and deliver tangible commercial results
  • Build and maintain comprehensive and detailed social media calendars across artist roster 
  • Brainstorm, budget, and execute ad campaigns for artists across various social platforms and DSPs
  • Liaise with larger marketing team to run digital ads, support execution of engaging UGC campaigns across short form content platforms that drive creations, trends, and virality of music
  • Communicate directly with distributor and digital partners around artist releases, ensuring we receive proper support and maximize external opportunities 
  • Provide support for maintaining the FADER Label catalog, tracking anniversaries, and exploring marketing opportunities including vinyl reissues, remixes, collaborations, etc.
  • Track and create consistent marketing reports utilizing relevant analytics platforms, i.e. Chartmetric and Crowdtangle, communicating updates and campaign results to relevant teams
  • Collaborate with artists, managers, and partners to develop, build, and evolve artist’s overall brand and creative vision
  • Work with A&R and creative teams to gather all necessary assets to meet delivery deadlines
  • Liaise with current and potential new marketing teams to expand artist reach and build fan base, i.e. PR, creative, fan engagement tools, etc.
  • Evaluate artists' existing and potential target audiences, developing strategies to increase overall awareness of the artists’ brand and music catalog (tracking streams, video views), and conversions (pre-saves, profile visits, follows)
  • Utilize emerging digital platforms to engage and grow artists' following, i.e. Discord, Twitch, Laylo, Mailchimp
  • Daily administrative tasks as needed, including organizing meetings and sending calendar and conference invites
  • Delegate invoices and coordinate budget communication internally, as well as vendor communication and relevant contracts
  • Work with production teams to gather, schedule, and distribute release assets in a timely manner

  • You’re well-versed in major social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter 
  • Familiar with how to use exclusive platform features like Reels, Shorts, Broadcast Channels, Community tab
  • Experience with fan community platforms such as Discord, Reddit
  • Following other artists on social media and studying new ways to promote music and create potential virality
  • Constantly reading industry news and keeping up to date on the latest trends


Requirements/Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a digital marketing role
  • You possess an upbeat, “can-do” attitude, and have a passion for the music industry
  • You are an exceptional communicator and enthusiastic collaborator
  • You are able to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
  • You have great interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels
  • You are highly organized and understand juggling priorities, are timely with follow up
  • You are proactive, flexible and have a strong decision-making ability
  • You are tech forward and a digital native who is in tune with social media and entertainment culture
  • You adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption

The annual base pay range for this role is between $50,000 and $68,000.
