Job overview:

Manage, oversee, and drive the labels streaming/DSP relationships & strategy; with an emphasis on growing the labels’ streaming revenue year over year, both catalog and frontline. Candidate is a dynamic digital marketer with a passion for music and deep understanding of DSP programming and audience development world. This is a leadership opportunity to centralize the labels streaming efforts from the commercial/marketing side of the business. 


Responsibilities / duties:


  • Strengthen, foster, and nurture relationships with DSP partners (Spotify, Apple, Youtube, Amazon, Tidal, Pandora, Meta, TikTok, etc)
  • Optimize, pitch, and improve the labels playlisting efforts.
  • Develop, build, and execute DSP plans for each release/campaign.
  • Analyze the label’s streaming results/metrics both on a macro and micro scale; provide feedback / insights to marketing and sales staff on solutions, best practices, trouble-shooting, etc.
  • Identify marketing/promotional opportunities and trends with DSP partners.
  • Oversee, audit and improve artist DSP profiles.
  • Communicate label priorities and marketing plans & highlights to DSPs.
  • Work closely with internal and external label teams to integrate DSP plans and initiatives into the overall marketing campaign.
  • Work closely with artist management and marketing teams on audience development.


Experience / Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in commercial DSP streaming and/or programming at record label, radio, DSP, distributor, and management company.
  • Must have established and proven relationships within music tech and DSP community.
  • NYC preferred but L.A. OK.
  • Exceptional proactivity, communication and interpersonal capabilities a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple timely projects and strong aptitude for work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very familiar with digital operations and music delivery.
  • A love for music, and knowledge of ATO music, including current and catalog releases.
  • Be able to demonstrate resourcefulness under pressure, and show a keen ability to problem solve issues
  • Excellent writing skills required
  • Excellent organization/planning skills, with a strong eye for detail.


Annual salary range of $70K - $90K plus benefits package, negotiable based on experience.
