Senior Product Manager / Marketing Director


Overview:

ATO Records is looking for an ambitious, creative, and dynamic marketing director/product manager to join the label’s New York-based team (NYC is preferred but Los Angeles is OK). This person will work with the head of the label and core marketing team to lead, develop, and execute the label's artist marketing plans and its many phases. We’re looking for someone who’s lead successful artist development campaigns, and is a goal driven, passionate music lover.



Responsibilities / duties:


  • Develop, manage and execute artist marketing plans /artist development campaigns. 
  • Candidate will act as central hub and key label- liaison to artist and their management teams, managing all aspects of the campaign.
  • Manage and communicate project directives, timeline, assets and sales drivers to key internal and external teams including sales, radio, publicity, distribution, international, licensing, and social media. 
  • Work closely with label and artist teams on tour marketing identifying key opportunities along tour schedules.
  • Manage and organize artist calendar and promotional schedules, project one sheets, assets, label copy, sales sheets, etc.
  • Pitch project highlights and initiatives to DSP partners.
  • Experience in commissioning and spearheading music video productions.
  • Work closely with artist management, publicity, social media, and sales to identify key opportunities to drive sales and awareness.
  • Lead and create agenda for team project calls/zoom.
  • Conduct team brainstorm sessions on creative marketing /sales ideas.
  • Experience with content creation with extensive relationships with creative community  (video directors, photographers, animators, etc)
  • Create and update project reports as well as analyze results.
  • Identify marketing/promotional opportunities and trends with key brand partners.
  • Help manage and oversee all artist properties including DSP profiles, websites, and social media.
  • Work closely with sales to establish DTC initiatives.
  • Set project goals and objectives with head of label.
  • Manage project marketing budget with head of label and CFO.



Experience / Requirements:


  • 5-7 years’ experience in record label product management, marketing, and artist development.
  • Ability to multi-task , motivate, excite, and mobilize all departments.
  • Must have established and proven relationships within music industry.
  • Must be resourceful and have relationships with creative community (photographers, video directors, stylists, animators, etc)
  • NYC preferred but L.A. OK.
  • Exceptional creativity, proactivity, communication and interpersonal capabilities a must.
  • A love for music, and knowledge of ATO music, including current and catalog releases
  • Excellent writing / copy skills required
  • Excellent organization/planning skills, with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to thrive in high pressure, fast paced environment.


Annual salary range of $70K - $90K plus benefits package, negotiable based on experience.
