Social Media and Content Marketing Manager - Domino Recording Company


The Social Media and Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping craft and execute Domino artists’ social strategies while leading the evolution of our creator marketing program. This person will function as our social and content expert, providing company-wide guidance on both established social platforms and new and emerging technologies. This role will be expected to proactively manage and support the day-to-day social needs of active album campaigns by creating assets, requesting posts, sending content ideas, creating schedules, obtaining assets for additional platforms, and/or managing internal social requests. The Social Media and Content Marketing Manager will be expected to build relationships with creators, influencers, and evangelist fans to help grow Domino’s footprint in the evolving social landscape.


Responsibilities:

  • Craft social media timelines and content plans for US-led projects
  • Handle album-oriented social posts for projects where Domino is given social access on an as-needed basis
  • Guide artists and their teams towards best practices on all social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Spotify Clips, X, Threads, and Snap
  • Provide insightful weekly social reporting to wider Domino staff
  • Help to identify and create a database of creators and influencers who can help in sharing and promoting Domino artists and their releases
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to create a creator relationship management strategy and manage creator relationships through regular email updates, gifting, and complimentary tickets
  • Coordinate global post requests for US-led projects and compile screenshots for DSP and radio support
  • Propose content strategies and help coordinate supporting video sessions, content capture days, and additional photography as needed
  • Create basic video and photo social content, work with the Domino design team to edit, or seek freelance support to meet social plans and provide artists with the assets necessary to execute a marketing campaign
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support Domino’s own socials on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter when needed
  • Identify super-fan content on social platforms and flag for post boosts, spark ads, and other collaborations

  • Has an eye for data and analytics; knows that success in social comes in many forms but data helps us make informed decisions


Qualifications:

  • Basic social video editing (resizing and cropping, trimming clips, adding titles and captions) through Capcut, Premiere, or a similar program
  • 3-5 years in a marketing, social media, or content creation role
  • Preference given but not limited to candidates with past music or entertainment industry experience
  • Basic Photoshop knowledge (resizing, cropping, adding text)
  • A deep understanding of all social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Snapchat, YouTube
  • Strong writing skills for social copy, creator outreach, and briefs
  • Can multitask across 5-8 projects at a time in varying capacities

This is a hybrid position located in Brooklyn, NY.  The salary range is $50k-$65k.
